For the last 3 years teams from the UK, USA and Canada took
part in the tournament and we are expecting similar participation from
these countries in the next, IE 12th, Physics Tournament on March 27-28, 2007.
We would therefore like to encourage you to arrange a team (or teams) from your countries as well.
Unfortunately
this appeal is coming at a very late stage as we launch the tournament
next week. From next week on 5-student teams will start designing and
constructing their own "safes". Nevertheless, in case you can team such
group in rather short time they surely can join.
There is no
tuition fee but we do ask $ 250 per person for transportation to and
from the airport and accommodation. Hence on top of teaming the group
up funding of this cost and traveling expanses should be
taken care off.
Most of the other relevant details as well as all last year's safes can
be seen in the Physics Tournament pages of the English section of our
website at: www.weizmann.ac.il/young/english
Please do not hesitate to ask for any further information.
Best regards,
Zvi
NB In case this notice is too short for the coming tournament you are
invited to consider the 13th Physics Tournament to be launched in year
time.
