Anna finished high school at Radnóti Miklós Experimental High School in Szeged. Early in primary school she was interested in the world of particles, in high school she studied chemistry and ended up at the Lendület Biocolloids Research Group of the University of Szeged, where she is doing research on colloid nanoparticles. She continues her studies in chemistry as a first year student at the University of Szeged.
With the help of the research group, she was awarded first place in the 2024 scholarship competition of the Research School SZTE TTIK programme. She believes that good research starts with a good mentor.
She won first place at the XVIII. Scientific Poster Competition with her poster “Colloidal and antioxidant properties of layered double hydroxide/heparin composite” and presented her research at the TUDOK Carpathian Basin Final. She was invited to the XXIX. National Student Conference, where she was elected Head of the Applied Sciences and T echnology Department of the Hungarian Research Student Association.
Besides her studies, her hobby is music. She is an active member of the Partiscum Girl Choir and has also studied to play the recorder and guitar. Furthermore she is an amateur actor in the Grimaszk Theatre Group in Szeged.
Already during the introductory evening games at my first thematic conference, it dawned on me that I wanted to take part in such a supportive and cohesive community, where I learned more things about myself, like what kind of spice would I be and made lifelong friends. My goal is to create such an atmosphere for future research students, where it is a joy to learn new things.
