He was born in Szekszárd in 2008, where he also attended primary school. In 2023, he was admitted to the I. Béla High School in Szekszárd. Currently, he is a 12th-grade student specializing in biology and mathematics. Next year, he would like to continue his studies at the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Sopron.
In his freshman year of high school, encouraged by his biology teacher, he got involved in research and biology competitions. Since the 9th grade, he has participated every year in the József Fodor National Biology Competition, among others. He also entered the World Water Day Photo Poster Competition, winning third place in 9th grade and second place in 10th grade. Inspired by this, he applied to the Scientific Poster Competition organized by the KutDiák Movement, where he took 2nd place in the Ecology section with his research project titled "Fox in the Garden".
He lives in a small rural farmstead on the edge of the Gemenc Forest. His father is a forester, with whom he regularly goes out into the forest, and nature is very close to his heart. This inspired him to start researching the urbanization of wild species—a topic he felt deserved increasing attention. There are many fascinating directions to explore, both regarding human attitudes and the behavior of wildlife.
In his free time, he enjoys gardening, traditional archery, and studying medicinal plants. Maria Treben’s books on herbs are his favorites, and he has read extensively on the subject.
Even at my first KutDiák competition, I encountered an inspiring and supportive community. Later at the camp, I decided that I, too, wanted to help the movement. I am really looking forward to discovering many interesting research projects, as well as meeting and talking with other student researchers.
