He was born in 2006 in Budapest to a Hungarian-Turkish family. He graduated (with straight A’s) from Mihály Fazekas Elementary and Secondary School of Budapest in natural science class. He will begin his university studies at ELTE in September 2025.
Since primary school, he has been drawn to the nat ural sciences. In 8th grade, he accomplished to get to the finals of the Öveges József Carpathian Basin Physics Competition. During his secondary school years, he regularly submitted solutions to the KöMaL mathematics problem series, and read numerous biographies and popular science books. Among the authors whose works he explored were István Hargittai (Edward Teller), Sylvia Nasar (A Beautiful Mind), and Simon Singh (Fermat’s Last Theorem), among many others. One of the most memorable books he read was A Mathematician’s Apology by G.H. Hardy.
In his junior years, he participated in the ELTE Talentum Program, through which he became familiar with the Hungarian Research Students’ Association. As part of the closing conference at ELTE, he gave a popular science presen tation on his research in cryptography. In the Hungarian Research Student’s Assocation’s Poster competition, he was awarded a special prize in mathematics, which earned him an invitation to the National Summer Conference.
In his senior years at high school, he was mentored by Gábor Ivánka, whom he met through the National Science and Innovation Olympiad, where his math ematics project won first prize. Additionally, he received a grand prize at TUDOK (National Student Research Conference).
Among literary works, he considers the French grand novels to be among the greatest achievements of literature. He is so inspired by them that he plans to learn French during his university years, in order to read these masterpieces in their original language. He speaks English and Turkish.
